Magatsuhi Skills are special moves triggered in-game during battles that use a character's special attack against an enemy, provide buffs to the player's party, or debuffs to enemies. Learn how to use Magatsuhi Skills to get an edge over enemy Demons you encounter!

At the top right corner of the battle screen, you will find a red meter that gradually fills up throughout the battle. Depending on your actions in battle, the meter will fill faster or slower. Once the meter is full, the player can trigger powerful attacks with varying effects, known as Magatsuhi Skills.
Note, the Magatsuhi gauge can be filled up and stored between battles, so it is recommended to fill it up before boss fights.
Once the Magatsuhi meter has filled up completely, you can perform Magatsuhi Skills which can be found under the Skills
option in the action menu during battle. Each Magatsuhi Skill is clearly labeled as Magatsuhi
in the menu to avoid any confusion.
Once you have selected a character's Magatushi Skill, the Magatsuhi meter will immediately drain, making it impossible for players to use Magatushi Skills consecutively with other allies. Choose carefully before activating a Magatsuhi Skill as you will need to wait for the meter to recharge before you can use one again.
When you complete a side quest for a demon, chances are they will give you a talisman.
These talismans automatically unlock a new Magatsuhi skill for demons of the same race.
Magatsuhi Skills are special abilities that characters can perform in battle when the Magatsuhi meter is full. Each Magatushi Skill offers unique effects ranging from healing your party, buffing allies, or even performing special attacks that deal heavy damage to enemies.
Players need to take into account that enemies can perform Magatsuhi Skills as well. Unfortunately, unlike the player, the Magatsuhi meter available for the enemy party is not visible, making it difficult to tell whether an enemy is close to or will be performing a Magatsuhi Skill next turn.
This makes it essential to finish battles as quickly as possible to eliminate the risk of being hit with an enemy's Magatsuhi Skill. Be careful in long-drawn-out fights, as this makes it more likely that an enemy will use a Magatsuhi Skill that could quickly turn the tide of the battle against you.
