Chiyoda is the third explorable area of Da'at in Shin Megami Tensei V (SMT 5). Read on for a full walkthrough for Chiyoda including all objectives, all bosses, tips and strategies, decisions in this area, and all obtainable demons, essences, and items!

Objectives

	Objective
1	Go to any leyline fount and use the Leyline Crossing to return to the Medical Research Lab in Tokyo
2	Enter either door to the Bethel Meeting Room
3	Go outside and return to your dorm
4	Warp to Tokyo Diet Building through the Terminal
5	Exit the building, slide down the slope east, and follow the subway to reach Ginza
6	Follow the path and register the leyline fount of Ginza
7	Hug the southern side of the area and follow the trail of Magatsuhi crystals until you find a Hua Po She will join as your navigator and start the subquest The Path to Myojin Forest.
8	Drop down below and head east past the Eligor to reach the leyline fount of Sukiyabashi Don't forget to save your progress.
9	Go back down, jump on the platforms on your west side, and destroy the Abscess of Miyuki Street ▶ Abscess of Miyuki Street tips and strategy
10	Return to the leyline fount to recover then head north and destroy the Abscess of Yurakucho You'll have to use the path on the north side to reach it. ▶ Abscess of Yurakucho tips and strategy
11	Head east and destroy the Abscess of Nihonbashi The treasure box below Hayataro contains Aogami Type-6's essence. ▶ Abscess of Nihonbashi tips and strategy
12	Follow the path north and register the leyline fount of Nihonbashi
13	Head further north and destroy the Abscess of Kanda ▶ Abscess of Kanda tips and strategy
14	Continue going north until you reach the leyline fount of Awajicho
15	Walk towards the pointer to accept the main quest Hellfire Highway
16	Head southeast to Uchikanda and talk to the Power found on the marked location
17	Walk along the path north and register the leyline fount of Akihabara Save your progress and prepare for a boss fight.

Chiyoda General Tips

Destroying the Abscess in Miyuki Street

A Naga Raja will attend to you upon interacting with the Abscess. This demon is weak to Fire and Force attacks but be careful if you have demons weak to Ice in your team as it can cast the party-wide Mabufula.

For this fight, we recommend Muu Shuwuu as your main attacker. If she has Concentrate, make her use Zanma on the first turn then Concentrate on the bonus turn to make her next Zanma more painful. Rinse and repeat.

Destroying the Abscess in Yurakucho

One Anju and one Mishaguji will defend this Abscess. Both of them are weak to Force attacks so Muu Shuwuu is still recommended for this fight.

Mishaguji's other weakness is Light so bring demons like Anubis and hope that you land an instakill with Hamaon.

Destroying the Abscess in Nihonbashi

4 Kaiwan will face you in this Abscess battle. Although they are all weak to Light, we recommend bringing Physical attackers instead as they can cast Makarakarn, reflecting the next Magic-based attack received.

We recommend bringing Dionysus and Orthrus. A good attack combination for Dionysus is using Acrobatic Kick for guaranteed extra turn then Sexy Dance. A charmed Kaiwan might even buff your team with Masukukaja!

Destroying the Abscess in Kanda

This is the hardest among the four Abscesses. Isis, Hanuman, and Oberon will spawn upon touching the Abscess. Hanuman and Oberon are both weak to Electric attacks while Isis is weak to Dark.

Avoid using multi-target Electric attacks like Mazio or Shockbound against Hanuman and Oberon as Isis can absorb Electric.

We recommend having a team with Anubis to focus on Isis while Baihu and Naga Raja focus on either Hanuman and Oberon.

Naga Raja learns Storm Dracostrike at level 43 so take time on grinding before jumping on the Abscess.

Shohei Yakumo

Tips and Strategy
Weak to Dark Give Physical resistance to Nahobino Bring Elec Dampeners

We recommend Alice and Anubis for targeting Shohei's weakness to Dark and Parvati for providing support with Media and Matarunda.

Shohei's skills mostly have Physical and Electric affinities. Fuse an essence to Nahobino that will give him resistance to Physical attacks like Black Ooze or Shiki-Ouji. Oni's essence won't work in this fight since it is weak to Electric.

When Shohei starts gathering Magatsuhi, use an Elec Dampener to block the following Mazionga.
