Use skills that ignore affinity resistance Bring demons with no weaknesses Fuse Metatron's essence to the Nahobino Obtain the Aogami Type-0 Essence Destroy the stars immediately
|
We recommend fusing Metatron's essence to the Nahobino to give him resistance to most affinities. This will let you use the skill slots for other moves or passives as well as allow the Nahobino to endure Lucifer's attacks and reduce the need of using Healing skills.
If you're using a Strength build, we recommend acquiring the Aogami Type-0 Essence and learning Murakumo. Murakumo deals severe Strength-based Almighty damage and has a bonus effect where it deals more damage if it critically hits.
The Magatsuhi skill Omagatoki: Critical and the passive skill Critical Zealot (plus Murderous Glee for when the Magatsuhi skill effect ends) are some great skills to mix with Murakumo to increase its damage output.
You can obtain this essence from a treasure box on the west side of Asakusa.

When Lucifer creates a Cocytus Star and a Brimstone Star, he will change affinity resistances and be weak to Fire and Ice attacks. This may sound great but you won't be that happy if the stars survive the round.
Destroy them before your turn ends as he can use Falling Star to deal Severe damage that ignores affinity resistance the first chance he gets.
Physical | Fire | Ice | Electric | Force | Light | Dark |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Resist | Weak | Weak | Null | Null | Drain | - |
Take note that Lucifer's weakness depends on which star(s) are present. If you destroy the Cocytus Star, Lucifer will no longer be weak to Fire. The same goes with the Brimstone Star and Lucifer's temporary weakness to Ice.

Lucifer can use skills from every affinity except for Light. He also has +5 skill potential on each and an enormous Magic stat to match these moves. To prepare for this, bring demons with few weakness or none at all.
Transfer Null/Repel/Drain passives to your demons through demon or essence fusion to cover each affinity, especially their weaknesses. It is easier to achieve this strategy using most of the endgame demons like Odin and Metatron since they already have few weaknesses by default.
Since Lucifer has resistance to all affinities except Dark, you need to bring demons with strong Almighty skills or skills that ignore affinity resistance in order to deal decent damage.
Lucifer's Cocytus Star and Brimstone Star are weak to Fire and Ice, respectively. He will also change his affinity resistance to match the weakness of both stars, leaving him vulnerable to both Fire and Ice depending on which star is still intact.
Use this opportunity to strike his weaknesses and gain additional press turn icons.

Lucifer can only be encountered as the final boss if you chose to "Keep God's order" or "Recreate the world and save Tokyo". If you picked the "Destroy the throne" route, you will face Tsukuyomi as the final boss instead in the Empyrean Throne Room.

There is a glaring omission and some outright wrong info on this page. Lucifer knows both Diarama and Dekaja. I was caught completely off guard by this because it was not listed on this page.
