The Standard Edition of Shin Megami Tensei V (SMT 5) will have no pre order bonuses whatsoever. The physical Steelbook Edition shares the same price as the Standard Edition, so get the Steelbook Edition if you can!
The Steelbook Edition features the same artwork as the one on the plastic cover version of the game but has the Protagonist in their regular outfit and their Nahobino form on the inside of the case. The Steelbook Edition costs $59.99, which is the same as the digital version of the game. This is worth it if it's available in a store near you!
The Premium Edition's retail price is around $119.99. It will include 2-Disc Soundtracks of the game, a 6 x 11.5 sling bag, the Steelbook case for the game, a 100+ page demon handbook, and a collectible box. If you're a die-hard fan of the SMT series, you should get this since supplies seem to be very limited!
The Digital Deluxe Edition of the game costs $84.99 in the Nintendo eShop. This includes the base game as well as the following content:
Safety difficulty and Japanese voices are available with the base game.
Individually, the total costs of all the DLCs will add up to around $29.93. Essentially, you are only saving a little bit below $5 by buying the Digital Deluxe Edition. Instead of buying this, we recommend just choosing the DLCs you want to own!
This Japan-Exclusive Limited Edition box set features almost the same items as the western Fall of Man Premium Edition. The only difference of this set compared to the Premium edition is instead of a sling bag, it offers a Nahobino T-Shirt instead! The retail price of this Limited Edition box is around 16,280 Yen.
