The Demon of the Spring Location

The Demon of the Spring Location

You can obtain this quest from a Mermaid, who is hidden past the bottom of a waterfall. This is the same location where you get the The Cursed Mermaids sidequest.

To find this location, head south from the Hamamatsucho Leyline Fount, go under the collapsed bridge, and keep on heading straight till you come to a dead end, where the Mermaid is waiting.

Summary ・Enlist the help of Anahita to lift the Mermaid's curse. Anahita supposedly appears at the source of the water on the mountain peak.
・After defeating her in battle, Anahita lifted the curse.
・You reported back to Mermaid and fulfilled the request.

How to Complete The Demon of the Spring

Objectives
1 The Demon of the Spring 1
Head back to the Mermaid that gave you the The Cursed Mermaids sidequest. She is located closed to the base of the waterfall near the Hamamatsucho Leyline Fount. Speak to her and accept her quest.

The Demon of the Spring 2
Follow the path indicated. You will need to head up to the Tokyo Tower Leyline Fount, then keep on heading north till you get to the Kamiyacho Leyline Fount. Take a right and go up a winding path.
3 The Demon of the Spring 3
You will need to get to this high point, and jump over a gap to get to Anahita. Clearing the nearby Abscess will also help with map visibility.
4 The Demon of the Spring 4
You will find Anahita at the end of the path. She will challenge you to a battle to lift the curse. Say Yes to both of her questions, and prepare for a difficult fight.

6 The Demon of the Spring 6
When you defeat Anahita, Megami Anahita will be available for fusion. Return to the Mermaid to complete the quest. You will receive 1 Femme Talisman as well as 1000 EXP.

The Demon of the Spring 5
Anahita casts Ice magic, so make sure to have resistances to it. She also casts Hama magic, so having Nahobino be resistant to it is recommended. She is weak against Electric and Fire attacks, so it's advisable to use a full party that can use Zio and Agi. A healer in your party is also advised.
