Drain/Null/Repel Skills Can Save Your Life

Not only having these skills negate or absorb incoming damage, they also lessen your enemy's turn count making them unable to make any moves.

Pierce Effect Skills Bypasses Resistances

Later in the game, you will encounter a number of foes that have multiple resistances. Having skills with Pierce ignores any enemy resistance and deals normal damage (except for Repel).

It is recommended to use Pierce effect skills on top of damage-increasing buffs in order to deal significant damage to foes.

Almighty Skills Against Mitama

Using Almighty skills is an effective way to defeat Mitama without using Spyglass to view their weakness. You will acquire skills like Life Drain or Manananggal's unique skill Sanguine Drain that can help bypass the multiple resistances of Mitama early in the game.
