Cast Tarunda in Every Turn Cast Tetrakarn or Attack Mirror in the First Few Turns Watch Out for Mabufudye After Oyamatsumi Uses Omagatoki:Critical Oyamatsumi Switches to Single-Target Phys Attacks After Using Omagatoki:Critical Take Advantage of Omagatoki: Critical
|
You should cast Tarunda on Oyamatsumi at least once in every turn to lower Oyamatsumi's attacks. This strategy can help you last longer in the fight as Oyamatsumi will deal lesser damage on your party.
If it comes down to choosing between debuffing Oyamatsumi and buffing your attacks, always debuff Oyamatsumi's attack damage.
Oyamatsumi will always opt using Crusher Onslaught on its first few turns, you should cast Tetrakarn at these times to prevent getting hit with its Physical attack.
On average, Oyamatsumi will deal anywhere near 50% of enemy HP as damage using this skill, and casting Tetrakarn or Attack Mirror can reflect this amount of damage back to Oyamatsumi.
Prioritize casting Tetrakarn or Attack Mirror on the Nahobino, and if possible, your main support demon.
Oyamatsumi will switch to using Mabufudyne after it taps into Magatsuhi and activates Omagatoki: Critical. You can use Ice Dampeners or Makarakarn to block Oyamatsumi's Ice attack.
As long as you keep debuffing Oyamatsumi's attacks, this should pose as no problem. Keep topping up your HP as you move along, and prepare for when Oyamatsumi uses Omagatoki: Critical again along with Mabufudyne.
This Magatsuhi skill can save you a whole round without having to consume MP. Or you can use it to extend turns so that you can concentrate on healing and debuffing. After you've cast your attack-blocking skills, go all out with your fire attacks on Oyamatsumi.
Eligor | Attis | Dionysus |
Parvati | Quetzalcoatl | Muu Shuwuu |
You should always exploit Oyamatsumi's weakness to Fire. Dionysus is highly proficient in fire and possess Donum Magici which buffs magic-based attacks.
Oyamatsumi relies on its Physical attacks a lot, and will only switch to Ice attacks when it activates Omagatoki: Critical. Demons like Muu Shuwuu, which you can find mid-game, possesses Tetrakarn.
You will also want to have Demons that can use Tarunda to lower Oyamatsumi's Attack. A mid-game demon like Parvati is valuable as she is also proficient in Healing skills.
