Use Ice and Avoid Using Fire and Light

Fortunately, both Asura and Mithras share the same elemental weakness. Hit them with Ice attacks like Mabufudyne or Mabufubarion to deal damage to both bosses and extend your turn.

Also avoid using Fire and Light-type attacks as Asura repels fire and nulls Light, whereas Mithras drains fire and nulls Light.

Don't Rely on Buffs and Debuffs

Asura has access to Dekunda and Mithras has access to Dekaja so any buffs and debuffs can be quickly countered. With that in mind, it's usually better to just spend your MP on Ice-type moves instead.

Cover Party Weaknesses With Passive Skills

Most demons that naturally learn Mabufudyne, Bufubarion, or Mabufubarion are weak to fire type attacks, which both Asura and Mithras can use. To avoid your Ice-type attackers from being hit with their elemental weakness, teach them a passive skill to null their weakness.

For the Null Fire skill, you can use the essence of Chimera on the desired party member. For Null Light, you can use the essence of Nebiros.

Best Demons to Use Against Asura and Mithras

Demons With Ice-type Skills

Skadi is a good candidate for this fight since her base fusion level is 67 and she naturally learns Mabufudyne. Her affinities aren't great, with a weakness to Fire and being neutral against Light, but if you teach her the passive skill Null Fire, she is very useful in this fight.

If you have the DLC, Cleopatra is highly recommended in this fight as she resists Fire and drains Light damage in addition to having access to Mabufudyne.

Demons That Null Fire and Light Damage

Throne nulls both Fire and Light damage, making this demon an ideal fit for this fight. Not only that, but Throne naturally learns Mediarama, so it's a good idea to use this demon as a healer during this fight. If you decide to teach Throne an Ice-type skill, then this demon becomes even more useful against Asura and Mithras.

Bishamonten also nulls both Fire and Light-type attacks, but his base fusion level is 58 so unless he's been in your party you would need to grind a few levels to have him ready for this fight.

Demons That Null/Repel Physical Damage

Both Asura and Mithras have fairly powerful physical attacks, so having a demon like Girimekhala that repels physical damage is quite useful. Have Girimekhala use Fierce Roar to have the enemy be more likely to target him.

Also be sure to teach Girimekhala Null Light from Nebiros' essence to cover that weakness.
