Keeper of the South Location

Zouchouten can be found on a hill east of the Fairy Village. You can get to the hill from the right side, and going up a path.

Note: This quest will only be available after completing the sidequest The Ancient Guardian.

How to Complete Keeper of the South

Objectives
1	Talk to Zouchouten, who can be found on a hill east of the Fairy Village. You can get to the hill from the right side, and going up a path. Note: This quest will only be available after completing the sidequest The Ancient Guardian.
2	Accept his quest and he will immediately challenge you to a battle. Defeat Zouchouten to complete the quest. ・How to Beat Zouchouten
3	Upon defeating Zouchouten, you will be rewarded with 1 Large Glory Crystal, 70000 EXP, and 1 Zouchouten's Essence.

Debuff Zouchouten's Attacks

Zouchouten has both Tarukaja and Charge which increases its attack damage. Make sure to always debuff Zouchouten's attacks specifically, at least once during every turn in order to weaken Zouchouten after it casts its own buffs to itself. Use a skill like Tarunda to lower Zouchouten's attack by 1 rank for 3 turns.

Hit Zouchouten With Force Attacks

Zouchouten is weak to Force attacks and capitalizing on the weakness-exploit system will benefit you a lot, effectively attacking Zouchouten and securing more turns for your team all at the same time.

Zouchouten Uses Mazionga After Activating Omagatoki: Critical

Zouchouten uses a multi-target Elec attack after it taps into Magatsuhi. To counter Mazionga during Zouchouten's next turn, we recommend using Elec Dampener after Zouchouten gathers Magatsuhi.
