How to Beat Abdiel (Nahobino)

Weak to Ice Take out the Depraved Arm and Wing immediately Prepare against Purgatory and Impetus

Take Out the Depraved Arm and Wing Immediately

When Abdiel's HP is cut down to about 50%, the Depraved Wing and Depraved Arm will start to move, increasing their total turn icons to four. Destroy these immediately as they can cast annoying Support skills like Makarakarn and Masukukaja.

The Depraved Arm is weak to Light while the Depraved Wing is weak to Electric.

Prepare Against Purgatory and Impetus

Once the Depraved Arm and Depraved Wing moves, Abdiel will start using Purgatory, a +7 skill that deals Severe damage to your entire party. At critical health, Abdiel will start going crazy with Impetus. Since it's a Physical attack, there's a possibility that the attack will unfortunately crit and wipe out your demons.

Take defensive actions against these skills by stacking defensive buffs on your team or attack debuffs on Abdiel. You can also add Life Spring and Great Life Spring on your skill set to help withstand these attacks and increase your chances of making a comeback.

As for Impetus, you can give your team Null/Repel/Drain Phys through fusion since this attack is affected by affinity resistance unlike Purgatory.

Best Demons to Use Against Abdiel (Nahobino)

Demons with high Ice skill potential

The only weakness Abdiel's Nahobino form has is Ice. Since there aren't a lot of endgame demons with high Ice skill potential, your best choices at this point of the game are Arioch and Skadi.

Arioch already has Bufubarion unlocked from the start but if you need another attacker, bring Skadi along and start grinding until she learns Bufubarion. You also need to make sure they have Null Fire or better (Repel/Drain) to make them, especially Skadi, last longer against Abdiel.

Mada and Lakshmi as supports

Mada's ability to absorb Fire attacks alone can help a lot in this fight as it can end Abdiel's turn immediately. Give it Taunt or Fierce Roar and Resist/Null Phys through essence fusion and you'll have a tank that can also heal your party with Mediarahan.

Use Lakshmi's Luster Candy to boost your defenses against Abdiel's multi-target attacks, especially Impetus. She can also use Mediarahan to fully heal your allies, though you'll need to keep an eye out on her MP when using both skills.

Demons with high Physical skill potential or skills that ignore affinity

The Depraved Wing can use Makarakarn on Abdiel to reflect a magic attack. Remember that getting your attack reflected back to you will consume all your press turn icons so bring demons with strong Physical skills, Almighty skills, or Magic skills that ignore affinity resistance.
