Counter its Masukunda with Sukukaja Always Have Mothman Up After Magatsuhi Charge

Counter its Masukunda with Masukukaja

Quetzalcoatl will greatly hamper the team's accuracy and evasion by spamming Masukunda during the early turns. Having a demon buff your whole party to counter this is recommended. Jatayu has an innate access to Masukukaja and it can also absorb force attacks so make sure to bring him along.

Have Mothman Counter Toxic Cloud

As mentioned above, Toxic Cloud is a highly predictable move. An ideal turn setup for the counter is:

• Turn 1: Nahobino - swaps Mothman in.
• Turn 2: Mothman - use Me Patra
• Turn 3 and 4: Attackers - Exploit enemy attack via gems/shards.
• Turn 5: Nahobino: - Swap Out Mothman
• Turn 6: Healer: Amrita Soda on self (if afflicted by Poison as well)
• Turn 7-8: Free for all.

This will guarantee that your DPS will not fall while also being rid of Poison for the majority of your team.

Best Demons to Use Against Quetzalcoatl

Mothman to Counter Quetzalcoatl's Toxic Cloud

Mothman is innately weak to Force so it is not recommended to have him out 24/7 for this fight. However, when Quetzalcoatl charges its Magatsuhi, its next move will be Toxic Cloud so preparing for the move by summoning Mothman to immediately heal the ailment is a valuable strategy to employ for this fight.

Demons Resistant/Immunte to Force

The majority of Quetzalcoatl's moves will be single Force attacks. Having several demons with immunity to Force will greatly dampen Quetzalcoatl's aggression.

Have 1 Demon Immune to Fire

Occasionally, Quetzalcoatle will use Maragion which is an AoE fire attack. Having at least 1 demon immune to Fire will immediately end the big snake's turn.

Healer Demons

Hua Po is a great demon to use as a Healer for this fight since it learns Media later on and is also immune to fire. Another good candidate is Thoth since it can be fused using Ame no Uzume for Media and it has no weaknesses to any of Quetzalcoatl's attacks. It also has Mana Spring so running out of MP will not be a problem.
