Biography

Sophia is the otherworldly resident of the World of Shadows realm who helps the protagonist progress through the game. Sophia is shown as a young woman with scarlet eyes and pale skin, clad in a blue robe that flows gently down her body.

Sophia can first be heard when nearing the Leyline Crossing located on Mita, in which she is first introduced as the Mysterious Woman beckoning the protagonist to show himself.

Once you've accessed the World of Shadows realm, you'll see a blue-robed woman named Sophia who'll help the protagonist through his journey in the game.

Apotheosis and Demon Fusion Guide

She aids the protagonist by enabling him to use Apotheosis so that he can learn Miracles or perform Essence Fusion should the player wish to upgrade Nahobino.

As you progress through the game, Sophia will allow the player to access the Demon Fusion and Demon Compendium features in the World of Shadows.

Sophia acts similarly to Igor from the Persona franchise in which she also gives the player access to the Demon Fusion and Demon Compendium features in a hidden plane or dimension that is secluded from others.

Apotheosis

Apotheosis is a unique feature in the World of Shadows that allows you to upgrade the characters by learning Miracles or performing Essence Fusions.

Miracles

Miracles acts as boons that provide bonus effects for Nahobino. Miracles are split into 4 types, which are namely Supremacy, Doctrine, Awakening, and Cosmos. They could be unlocked by clearing Abscesses in certain areas.

Essences

Essences are spirits possessing unique abilities that can be inherited by the character should the player choose to perform the Essence Fusion. Essences can be unlocked by leveling up demons, clearing quests, opening chests, or purchasing them from Gustave.

Demon Fusion

Demon Fusion is a feature where you fuse demons that you currently have in your inventory to create newer and stronger ones.

The fusion options available in the feature are namely Dyad Fusion, Dyad Compendium Fusion, Reverse Fusion, Reverse Compendium Fusion, and Special Fusion.

Demon Compendium

The Demon Compendium is described as a sort of grimoire that lists and keeps track of all the demons you have recruited throughout your progress in the game.

There are two options under the Demon Compendium, namely View Compendium and Register to Compendium. You could summon back demons you've discarded through the former option, and manually register them through the latter.
