Best Demons to Use Against Mother Harlot

Bring Demons with Force Skills

Mother Harlot's is weak against Force damage, so bring demons that have Zandyne to extend your turn. Mother Harlot doesn't summon any allies, so single-target Force skills are recommended for this boss fight.

Bring Demons with Buffs

Since Mother Harlot has access to Dekunda which negates debuffs, it's better to focus on buffing your party instead of debuffing Mother Harlot. That being said, you can force Mother Harlot to waste a turn casting Dekunda by debuffing her.

Tao is particularly useful as she can both heal and buff all party members in the same move.

Bring Demons that can Resist and heal Status Ailments

Being able to heal up status effects is very important in this fight, so be sure to bring along demons like Lachesis who resist status ailments. It's also a good idea to teach Lachesis Diamrita or Me Patra so that she can heal the party's status ailments.

How to Beat Mother Harlot

Use Force Skills and Avoid Using Physical Skills Focus on Buffing Rather Than Debuffing Heal Status Ailments Use Elec Dampeners When Mother Harlot Charges Magatsuhi

Use Force Skills

Exploit Mother Harlot's elemental weakness as often as possible to extend your turn and deal more damage. Avoid using Physical attacks as Mother Harlot repels Physical damage. Using a Physical attack would both damage a party member and shorten your turn.

Focus on Buffing

Debuffs on Mother Harlot will get washed away with Dekunda, so focus on buffing your party instead. Tao's ability Light of Order is particularly useful as it both heals a medium amount of damage to all party members and buffs all party attributes by 1 stage.

Heal Status Ailments

Lachesis is an excellent party member to have in this fight as she resists all status ailments and is even more useful if she inherits skills like Me Patra, Diamrita, and Zandyne.

With those skills and affinities, Lachesis can avoid status ailments and heal any party members that become inflicted. If no party members are suffering from status ailments, she can eitherr buff the party or deal damage to Mother Harlot.

Use Elec Dampeners

Any time Mother Harlot starts charging Magatsuhi, use an Elec Dampener to Null Electric damage. Mother Harlot always uses Maziodyne as her Magatsuhi attack, so this will deny her a turn, giving your team more opportunities to damage the boss. Note that Mother Harlot can also use Maziodyne as a regular attack, so be sure to cover your party's weaknesses.
