Use Fire and Light Skills Use Defense Debuffs and Pierce Attacks Use Ice Block or Ice Dampeners Keep Healing and MP Regen at the Ready
|
Belphegor is weak to Fire and Light-type attacks. Make sure your team can use Agi or Hama or their higher level versions. Making sure you make 8 moves every turn is a must, as every move counts.
Rakunda works well to make Belphegor more vulnerable. Demons who have Puncture Punch, which can be learned through a Naga Essense, can pierce through Belphegor's Physical damage resistance.
Belphegor always casts Bufula the turn after he uses Concentrate, so use Ice Block or Ice Dampeners so he misses and ends his turn.
You'll need to get your party back up to full health, especially after Belphegor casts Mamudoon. A good stock of MP regen items will be very helpful.
Hariti | Baphomet | Forneus |
Parvati | Quetzalcoatl | Muu Shuwuu |
Parvati can cast Light magic, so she is an ideal demon to have in your party. Quetzalcoatl can deal great damage as well with Agilao.
Parvati resists Ice magic and Hariti blocks Dark magic. Baphomet blocks Dark magic as well, and can should be equipped with a single-target Fire spell so it won't drain as much MP. Forneus absorbs Ice and blocks Dark, which makes him fantastic to have. He might need to be leveled up a bit and given a good Fire spell, though.
Parvati and Muu Shuwuu can serve as good healers, as they have Media. Muu Shuwuu can also cast Force magic, which Belphegor doesn't Resist. Hariti has good healing and revival skills with Diarama and Recarm.
