Add Oni to your team Use Ice and Light Attacks Bring Elec Dampeners Increase your Defense with Buffs Lower its Attack with Debuffs

Use Taunt as soon as Oni get's a turn to increase the chances of Loup-garou targeting him. If you get another turn, use Fang Breaker to lower Loup-garou's Attack stat. Since Oni is resistant to Physical attacks, he wouldn't pose a problem since his skill set is mostly Physical.
Loup-garou's is weak to Ice and Light attacks. At this point of the game, your best choices are Xuanwu, Kaya-no-Hime, and Jack Frost.
When Loup-garou starts gathering Magatsuhi, use an Elec Dampener to protect your team from Souffle D'eclair.
Xuanwu can provide Defense buff with Rakukaja while Kaya-no-Hime can use Harvest Dance to both heal and raise Defense. After Oni uses Taunt, you can use either Support skill to further increase Oni's Physical resistance.
Jack Frost | Xuanwu | Oni |
Kaya-no-Hime |
For the main damage dealers, we recommend any two between Xuanwu, Kaya-no-Hime, and Jack Frost as they can target Loup-garou's weakness to Ice.
Oni is almost mandatory for this battle. Not only he's resistant to Physical attacks but can also use Taunt to increase the chances of Loup-garou targeting him. He can also use Fang Breaker to lower the boss' Attack stat.
