How to Beat Eligor

Prepare Some Fire Dampeners Use Omagataki then Kill the Two Andras Immediately Continue Hitting Eligor With Lightning

Prepare Some Fire Dampeners

If you are worried about Eligor's Fire-based attacks or Andras' Force-based attacks, before you enter the battle, head to Gustave and buy Fire Dampeners or Force Dampeners to blcok at least one elemental type.

Use Omagatoki then Kill the Two Andras Immediately

Once the battle begins, if your Magatsuhi Meter is full, use it to boost your crit rate and focus on taking out the two Andras first by using Zio or Hama. Hama can be a great ability to use but there's only a low chance of killing them via instant death so if you have a high magic stat, going with Zio is more often, the better choice.

Continue Hitting Eligor With Lightning

Once it's down to Eligor, hit him with Zio as much as possible and use Angel to heal up the party. If Eligor charges up Magatsuhi, have the entire party guard to avoid taking critical hits. Not guarding will allow Eligor to deal massive amounts of damage so don't take his attacks too lightly unless you wish to experience a premature death.

Best Demons to use Against Eligor

Demons With Zio and Hama

Eligor's elemental weaknesses is Electric-type attacks, so bringing Demons that have access to Zio will make this fight go much more smoothly. The two Andras that spawn with him are weak to Electric-type attacks and Light-based attacks such as Hama.

Demons That Block or Resist Fire and Force Damage

Aitvaras and Fortuna's affinities are great for this fight, since Aitvaras blocks Eligor's Fire-type attacks and Fortuna blocks the two Andras' Force-type attacks, increasing your odds of shortening the enemy's turn.

Healers

Angel's unique healing spell Humble Blessing heals all party members a small amount, greatly increasing your chances of survival. This ability is very useful early game . Also Angel has access to Hama which Andras is weak against.
