Skill	Description
Walpurgisnacht +9	Unique Skill: Severe Dark attack to 1 foe. Chance of instakill when striking weakness.
Brave Blade +7	Heavy Physical attack to 1 foe. High chance of Critical.
Agibarion +7	Severe Fire attack to 1 foe.
Makajamaon +9	Chance of inflicting Seal to all foes.
Luster Candy +4	Raises all stats of all allies by 1 rank for 3 turns.
Impaler's Animus +4	Increases the damage of the next attack and adds Pierce effect for self.
Stagnant Air +9	Unique Skill: Chance of inflicting Mirage to all foes and lowers Defense and Accuracy/Evasion by 1 rank for 3 turns.
Mamudobarion +9	Severe Dark attack to all foes. Chance of instakill when striking weakness. Only used as a Magatsuhi Attack
Omagatoki: Critical	Magatsuhi Skill: All attacks, including magical attacks, will become Critical hits for all allies for 1 turn.

Best Demons to Use Against Mephisto

Light skills or Physical skills that ignore affinity resistance

Mephisto's only weakness is Light so bringing demons with high Light skill potential such as Sraosha and Khonsu Ra is recommended.

You can also bring demons with high Physical skill potential, but only if they have Physical attacks that ignore affinity resistance like Hell Thrust since Mephisto can block regular Physical attacks. Kali and Odin are great choices for this type of attacker.

In general, you'd want to have a team that is not weak to Dark to avoid instakills from Mephisto's Dark skills.

Lakshmi as support

Lakshmi's Luster Candy is a neat Support skill that can raise all of your party's stats. She can also use Mediarahan to fully heal your allies, though you'll need to keep an eye out on her MP when using both skills

Kali with Taunt and Null Phys

Kali with Taunt learned from fusion can draw Dark and Fire attacks and block them, resulting in Mephisto losing more press turns. Additonally, you can give her Null Phys from Ongyo-Ki's essence to block Mephisto's Brave Blade and normal attacks.

This defensive strategy won't work if Mephisto uses Impaler's Animus though, so you might need to heal Kali or anyone that gets hit by the next attack.

How to Beat Mephisto

Vulnerable to Status Ailments

Although Mephisto is resistant to all ailments, he is still vulnerable to them. Keep in mind that the chances of inflicting an ailment to Mephisto is low (unless your Luck stat is crazy high) so only try using Ailment skills or gems if you have press turns to spare.

We recommend trying to inflict Seal to Mephisto. This will cause him to burn all his turn icons trying to cast a skill since he rarely uses normal attacks.

Prepare for Ailments

Bring items like Amrita Shower in the fight and prepare skills that can remove ailments like Me Patra to cleanse your party from Makajamaon and Stagnant Air's effects. The passive skills Abyssal Mask and Hell Mask also help decreasing the chances of being afflicted with Mephisto's Ailment attacks.

Bring Dark Dampeners

Mephisto will use Mamudobarion the next round after gathering Magatsuhi. Since it is a guaranteed Severe critical hit to your team, you'll need to use a Dark Dampener to block the attack and make him lose press turn icons.

Even after blocking this attack, Mephisto will still have one press turn icon unless you have the Magatsuhi Dispersion Miracle so make sure your allies have a decent amount of HP left.
