King Bufula is a powerful AoE Ice attack that can devastate your party. Jack Frost's Ice Block can completely nullify this attack.
Debuffs are very important and can make a difficult fight more bearable. Keep King Frost's stats low so he doesn't overwhelm you.
Bring a whole bunch to this fight, as they could be useful to make King Frost lose his turns.
This Magatsuhi skill can save you a whole round without having to consume MP. Or you can use it to extend turns so that you can concentrate on healing and debuffing.

Jack Frost absorbs Ice magic, while Chironnupu can Resist Ice attacks. Adding them to your team will increase your survivability.
Kikuri-Hime can use Tarunda to lower King Frost's damage output, which can be helpful considering King Frost's +5 to Ice damage.
Principality is an amazing healer for its Diarama skill. Feng Huang and Ame no Uzume both have Media, which can save the party after King Frost uses King Bufula.
Feng Huang is an ideal damage dealer, since it has a powerful Agilao fire attack, while also not having any Ice weakness. Legion has a Mudo attack and can also take advantage of King Frost's weakness.

The quest giver for the A Wish for a Fish quest is a Nekotama found just after the boss fight against Loup-garou near the . From there go back to the Container Yard Leyline and drop down two levels and head Southeast on the map. King Frost will be inside a building, struggling to keep it cold.
Important Note: You will have to fight King Frost no matter what, but after the boss fight, you can either choose to finish off King Frost, or to let him live. You will recieve the fish and unlock King Frost for fusion (after reporting to Nekotama) either way, however killing him causes this NPC to disappear.
