Weak to Light Bring Dark Dampeners Defend against the Magatsuhi charge Remove the debuffs

Bring Dark Dampeners

Chernobog will use Mamudoon first the next round after gathering Magatushi. Use a Dark Dampener to block the attack and make him lose 2 press turn icons.

Defend Against the Magatsuhi Charge

After gathering Magatsuhi and using Mamudoon, Chernobog will continue using Physical attacks which will are all guaranteed crits. Your best course of action against it is to guard and stack defensive buffs like Kannabi Veil, Marakukaja, and Masukukaja. You can also lower his accuracy with Masukunda as it is much better for you to dodge his attacks and make him lose his turns.

Remove the Debuffs

Most of Chernobog's Physical skills also reduce one of your stats. Remove these status debuffs by using Dekunda or other Support skills that can raise the impaired stats.

Best Demons to Use Against Chernobog

Anubis or Yoshitsune as the main damage dealer

Chernobog's only weakness is Light and can use Dark attacks. Anubis covers both situations with his proficiency with Light skills and resistance to Dark attacks. Since Anubis starts from lv41, you might have to grind levels first before he can keep up with Chernobog's stats.

Alternatively, you can rely on Yoshitsune and his Hassou Tobi for the damage dealing. Chernobog mostly use his Physical skills, and Yoshitsune can answer them with his resistance to Physical attacks and Retaliate.

Dominion or Oberon as support

Oberon starts with Diamrita and Samarecarm, both great Recovery skills against Chernobog who mostly uses Physical attacks, thus more chances to unfortunately crit. He can also learn Matarukaja to reverse the effects of Fang Breaker.

Dominion is also a good choice for healer/support role and she can use Light attacks to target Chernobog's weakness. As long as you use a Dark Dampener after Chernobog starts gathering Magatsuhi, she will be safe from the possibility of getting instakilled by Mamudoon.
