New Game Plus

New Game Plus (NG+) is a game feature that allows you to replay the game with a different twist to keep your gameplay challenging or easier the second time around.

There are two different modes for NG+, and one that can be unlocked after beating a superboss in the Canon of Vengeance.

Newborn Mode

Newborn Mode is a mode that carries over only your Demon Compendium up until the last boss of your file. This will carry over all the demons you've registered on your compendium, allowing you to summon them in your NG+ game through Sophia in the World of Shadows.

Reborn Mode

Reborn Mode is a mode that carries over your compendium, along with your Nahobino's level, skillls, the demons in your stock, Macca, Glory and items. This is meant for players who want to unlock more endings of the game faster, or to fight superbosses later on.

New Game Plus Features

Godborn Mode

Godborn Mode is a mode that unlocks after defeating Satan in a New Game Plus save file. This allows you and other demons to reach Level 150, allowing for a more challenging run through the game. We recommend veterans to run this mode if you wish to spice up a new run.

New Endings

Required Subquests to Unlock the Secret Ending

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance features the base game's endings along with two new endings for the Canon of Vengeance. Each ending has different bosses and different characters you can follow throughout the Empyrean.

New Sidequests

You can unlock new demons and their attached sidequests once you reach the Empyrean. Talking to Maria will give you the respective Queen quest according to your alignment, and talking to either Nebiros or Mechizedek will give you access to their quests for Belial or Michael, respectively.
