Take Out Anubis and Thoth First Use Ice Skills on Khonsu Ra Null Light and Fire Damage Buff and Debuff Avoid Attacking When Mesektet's Path is Cast

At the start of the fight, Khonsu Ra will summon Anubis and Thoth. These are one time summons that can be quickly defeated so it's highly recommended that you deal with them first.
Demon | Weakness | Resistance | Null or Higher |
---|---|---|---|
Anubis | Force | Dark | Holy |
Thoth | Dark | - | Fire |
Anubis acts mainly as a debuffer and Thoth as a buffer, so defeat them before they make the battle more difficult on your party.
Khonsu Ra is weak to Ice-type attacks, so take advantage of this and target him with skills like Bufubarion or Ice Age to deal the most damage possible and extend your turn.
Prioritize bringing demons that block Light and Fire damage. Blocking Light damage is more important though, since Khonsu Ra's skill Heliopolis Dawn is a fire skill with a piercing effect that targets all foes. Also Khonsu Ra is likely to use Mahamaon after charging Magatsuhi, so having a party that nulls light damage can negate that attack completely.
Khonsu Ra doesn't have any way of buffing himself or debuffing your party after his summons are defeated, so feel free to use skills like Luster Candy or Debilitate against this boss.
Attacking Khonsu Ra the turn after he has cast Mesektet's Path will cause him to counter and inflict the attacking character with a unique Shroud status effect that drains MP at the start of each turn. When Mesektet's Path is cast, spend your turn healing and buffing to avoid this status ailment.
Arioch | Sraosha | Lakshmi |
Kali | Amon | Mithras |
Cleopatra |
Arioch naturally learns Bufubarion and has a base fusion level of 75, which is pretty close to the recommended level of this fight. Also Arioch's affinities aren't great, but they aren't terrible either, being neutral to both Fire and Light damage.
Mithras has the perfect affinities to deal with Khonsu Ra, draining Fire damage and nulling Light damage. Additionally Mithras naturally learns both Dekaja and Dekunda which can be very helpful if Anubis and Thoth are casting buffs and debuffs.
Lakshmi acts as both a great buffer and healer in this fight. After Anubis and Thoth have been dealt with, have Lakshmi cast Luster Candy to buff the whole party. Teaching her or another party member the debuff Debilitate will give you an even larger advantage, althought the MP cost of these spells is quite high.

Yep, don't let this guide fool you. Khonsu-Ra likes his buddies. Build your party and affinities with the knowledge they will return. Eg have someone Null, reflect or absorb elek for our buddy Thot. Dude likes to zap sometimes and its an easy nibble at Khonsu's press turns. Ailments can help too, if they land.
