The Altus Plateau, where the Erdtree's base can be found, contains the Royal Capital of Leyndell to the east, and Mt. Gelmir to the west. Scars from the Shattering remain apparent to this day."

There are two ways to get into Altus Plateau: One is by passing through the Grand Lift of Dectus at the northeastern part of Liurnia of the Lakes. The other way is by ascending the Ruin-Strewn Precipice, also at the northeastern part of Liurnia.

Once you've made it onto Altus Plateau, head northeast and you will find the map fragment on a monument by the road.
