Scales with Dexterity and Strength

The Celebrant's Rib-Rake scales with Dexterity and has the highest stat scaling bonus with this attribute. Equipping the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom talisman can further increase the damage dealt by this weapon.

You can get even more bonus damage from the weapon's default scaling by applying a Keen affinity with the Iron Whetblade.

Good Weapon for Runes Farming

Dealing damage with the Celebrant's Rib-Rake grants the user with 10 Runes after a very short duration. This is an ideal Runes farming weapon and pairing this with the Gold Scarab talisman while consuming a Gold-Pickled Fowl Feet will increase the overall amount of Runes you can get per run.

This weapon has the default moveset for spears with fast thrusting pierce attacks and chargeable strong attacks that perform an even strong piercing thrust. It is an ideal weapon for applying status effects from a safe distance. Ashes of War such as Blood Tax, Chilling Mist, or Poisonous Mist are recommended as additional damage sources.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and has the weapon skill War Cry by default. When this skill is activated it performs a shout that boosts your attack power and changes your strong attacks to charging attacks.

Instead of performing a charging attack, the strong attacks of this weapon use the head of the spear to unleash a flurry of overhead strikes that ends with the spear being plunged to the ground. The effects of the weapon skill can be enhanced with the Roar Medallion talisman.
