How to Use Celebrant's Cleaver

Scales with Strength and Dexterity

The Celebrant's Cleaver is a Strength-based weapon and has the highest stat scaling bonus with this attribute. You can increase the damage of your attacks with the Starscourge Heirloom talisman by raising your Strength.

Whetblades can be used to apply different affinities to this weapon to improve its default scaling and allow it to scale with your other attributes if needed.

Good Weapon for Runes Farming

Attacking with the Celebrant's Cleaver gives the user 10 Runes per hit, making it an ideal Runes farming weapon. Pairing this with the Gold Scarab talisman and consuming a Gold-Pickled Fowl Feet will increase the overall amount of Runes you can get per run.

This weapon shares the same normal attacks as the Club with the unique strong attack that has the cleaver raised while running forward before slamming it to the ground. If you are looking to deal more damage with this weapon, you can apply different status effects for an additional source of damage. The Blood affinity will grant the weapon the ability to apply Bleed while the Ashes of War Chilling Mist will allow you to apply Frostbite and Poisonous Mist will grant you Poison.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and has the weapon skill Wild Strikes by default. This skill allows the user to swing the weapon continuously by holding the skill button. It can be followed up with either a normal or strong attack for an additional finishing blow.

The weapon skill gives the user high Poise while attacking and consecutive attacks are extremely effective at stun locking enemies. It uses both FP and Stamina while in use, good talismans to pair with Wild Strikes are the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Green Turtle Talisman, and Shard of Alexander. These talismans will increase the damage dealt by the skill and give you fast Stamina recovery.
