This weapon has a chance to drop from Ancestral Followers. You can farm a good number of them either in Siofra River or Nokron, Eternal City.

How to Use Jawbone Axe

Scales with Strength and Dexterity

The Jawbone Axe mainly scales with Strength and has the most scaling bonus to your physical attack damage. The Starscourge Heirloom talisman can further increase the damage output by raising this stat.

The weapon can get even more bonus scaling from Strength by applying a Heavy affinity that will improve its scaling grade.

The Jawbone Axe is a good customizable weapon that is capable of deal high amounts of damage with its weapon skill. It has the default moveset for Axes and is capable of wide attacks with high stagger rates and strong attacks that break an enemy's guard.

It has a moderate attack speed that can be used to apply status effects such as Bleed, Frost, and Poison.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and has the weapon skill Wild Strikes by default. This skill allows the user to swing the weapon continuously by holding the skill button. It can be followed up with either a normal or strong attack for an additional finishing blow.

The weapon skill gives the user high Poise while attacking and consecutive attacks are extremely effective at stun locking enemies. It uses both FP and Stamina while in use, good talismans to pair with Wild Strikes are the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Green Turtle Talisman, and Shard of Alexander. These talismans will increase the damage dealt by the skill and give you fast Stamina recovery.
