How to Use Sacrificial Axe

Scales with Strength and Dexterity

The Sacrificial Axe mainly scales with Strength and the Starscourge Heirloom talisman can further increase the damage output by raising this stat.

The weapon can get even more bonus scaling from Strength by applying a Heavy affinity that will improve its scaling grade.

Restores FP

This weapon has a unique passive ability that restores FP to the user when an enemy is killed with or while the weapon is equipped. It is the second most damaging Axe in the game and its passive ability complements the default weapon skill very well and allows you to continue using it as long as you can defeat enemies.

It can also restore FP from viewing bloodstains of other players dying from fall damage. Traveling to cliff edges and common spots where players would most like fall is a good location to restore your FP. You can increase the amount of FP restored from defeated enemies with the Ancestral Spirit's Horn talisman.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and has the weapon skill Wild Strikes by default. This skill allows the user to swing the weapon continuously by holding the skill button. It can be followed up with either a normal or strong attack for an additional finishing blow.

The weapon skill gives the user high Poise while attacking and consecutive attacks are extremely effective at stun locking enemies. It uses both FP and Stamina while in use, good talismans to pair with Wild Strikes are the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Green Turtle Talisman, and Shard of Alexander. These talismans will increase the damage dealt by the skill and give you fast Stamina recovery.
