How to Use Treespear

Scales with Dexterity, Faith, and Strength

The Treespear has a C scaling in Dex and a D scaling in both Strength and Faith at +25 with the Standard affinity. The talisman Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom which raises your Dex by +5 will further increase your damage output.

It also scales with Faith and adding points to this attribute will increase the Holy damage output. Equipping the Two Fingers Heirloom which raises Faith by +5 can further strengthen the Treespear's attacks.

Holy Damage Weapon

The Treespear is one of the highest damaging Greatspear in the game. Even though split damage goes through two sets of resistances, the physical damage of the Treespear is already very high and has Holy Damage on top of that. This weapon is highly effective against enemies that have a low resistance to Holy. Most notably, Holy Damage is effective against Skeletons and Zombies. Pairing it with the Sacred Scorpion Charm can further increase Holy damage at the cost of reduced damage negation.

This weapon has a unique strong attack animation that performs a thrust attack followed by an upwards slash. Charging the first strong attack unleashes two quick thrusts while the second strong attack is the same upward slash followed by a thrusting attack. The Axe Talisman which enhances charge attacks and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia which greatly raises attack power with successive hits are recommended to pair with this weapon.

Weapon Skill Buffs Holy Damage

The Treespear cannot be infused with Ashes of War and is equipped with the Sacred Order weapon skill by default. It imbues the weapon in a golden glow that increases the Holy damage dealt by the weapon for a short period.

It is a useful weapon skill for quickly buffing your weapon before going in for a more punishing series of attacks.
