Reasons You Can't Summon Other Players

Servers are Loaded

The common error when trying to summon another player to help you out is Unable to Summon Cooperator. This is frustrating, especially when you would really like help defeating a boss.

One of the speculated reasons for this is because there are so many people on the server and can't establish connections between players properly.

Too Many Players Summoning

Another reason why you can't summon a cooperator is because other players are also summoning them. This turns the summoning signs into first-come, first-served, where only the ones who can press the summon button the fastest will get their cooperator.
