From the Mausoleum Compound Site of Grace, head east past the Walking Mausoleums to the Minor Erdtree (East Liurnia).

Aside from his Lunging Attack, Erdtree Avatar doesn't have much mobility. Use this to your advantage by riding circles around him using Torrent and getting a few hits in here and there. Don't get greedy though because just one or two hits from his staff can knock you off your horse.
Beating Erdtree Avatar (East Liurnia) will get you Holy-Shrouding Cracked Tear, Lightning-Shrouding Cracked Tear, and Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear.
