How to Use Warhawk's Talon

Scales with Dexterity and Strength

This weapon scales primarily with Dexterity and has the highest scaling grade with this attribute. It also has a Strength requirement but does not scale well with the stat and investing in Dexterity will have the most beneficial effect on the weapon's bonus damage gain.

Switching this weapon's affinity to Heavy will improve its scaling with the Strength attribute. Status effects such as Hemorrhage, Poison, or Frost can also be added for an extra damage source.

Good Weapon for Dexterity Builds

Since this is mainly a Dexterity weapon, it is a good weapon for high Dexterity players with builds focusing on these types of armaments. It has a slightly different attack animation than most common straight swords with a combination of wide horizontal and diagonal slashes with a unique charged strong attack that performs two quick slashing attacks.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and is equipped with Spinning Slash as its default weapon skill. It enables the user to perform a 360-degree spinning slash capable of hitting surrounding enemies. This skill can be followed up with another input to perform another spinning attack.
