How to Use Longsword

Scales with Dexterity and Strength

The Longsword scales with Strength and Dexterity but primarily scales with your Strength attribute. Leveling up this stat will have a greater increase in the amount of bonus physical damage this weapon deals.

Customizing this weapon's affinity will improve its defaulting scaling to scale even better with your stats. If you are looking to add an extra damage source to this weapon, status effects such as Hemorrhage, Poison, or Frost can also be added.

Good Early Game Weapon

This is a good starting weapon and its damage output and versatility can help you progress through the early game stages easily. It has slashing and pierce attacks that deal a good amount of damage. Two-handing this weapon will increase the damage output and you can stagger most enemies with its fast normal attacks or charged strong attacks.
