Given by Freyja After Giving Her the Letter From Ansbach

The Golden Lion Shield is a reward from Freyja after giving her the Letter to Freyja key item obtained from Ansbach. To reach this point of Freyja's quest, progress both Freyja and Ansbach's questlines until they appear in the Shadow Keep then follow the series below:

  1. Talk to Freyja at the Storehouse, Seventh Floor.
  2. Find Sir Ansbach in the Storehouse, First Floor and tell him about Freyja's situation.
  3. Retrieve the Secret Rite Scroll and deliver it to Ansbach in the First Floor.
  4. Receive the Letter to Freyja quest item from Ansbach.
  5. Deliver the letter to Freyja back at the Seventh Floor to get the Golden Lion Shield.

Note: You should tell Ansbach about Freyja's situation first before giving him the Secret Rite Scroll as he will leave the Shadow Keep after he receives the scroll, which locks you out of the Golden Lion Shield for this playthrough.
