Looted from a Chest in the Ground Floor of the Fog Rift Fort

The Serpent Flail can be looted from a chest guarded by multiple Messmer Soldiers and Flamethrower Cannons in the ground floor of the Fog Rift Fort in Scadu Altus. To reach the fort, you'll need to jump down from the cliffs to the west of the Scadu Altus, West site of grace.

How to Get the Serpent Flail in Fog Rift Fort

From the Highroad Cross site of grace, ride west along the ridge lining the river with the patrolling Troll Knight. Keep following the narrow road to reach the Scadu Altus, West site of grace.

From the Scadu Altus, West site of grace, face west and use Torrent to complete a jumping puzzle that takes you to one of the towers in the Fog Rift Fort.

As soon as you arrive, use the ladder to go down to the battlements. Head south along the wall until you arrive at a junction.

Near the junction is a ladder that takes you down to the ground floor of the fort. Use it to reach the lower level.
Notice IconYou do not have to fight Black Knight Garrew (boss of the Fog Rift Fort) to get the Serpent Flail.

Fight your way through multiple Messmer Soldiers and flamethrower cannons to reach the chest you have to loot on the other side.

Loot the Serpent Flail from the chest.
