Monk's Flamemace Location
Chance to Drop From Fire Monks
This weapon has a chance to drop from Fire Monks wielding it. You can easily farm one such enemy at the Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave in Mountaintops of the Giants.
The Monk is found down the stairs after entering the hallway to the left from the Site of Grace.

How to Use Monk's Flamemace
Scales with Dexterity and Strength
The Monk's Flamemace mainly scales with Dexterity and has the most scaling bonus from this stat. The Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom can further increase the damage of your attacks by raising your Dexterity.
It scales poorly with Strength but can be improved by changing its affinity by using different whetblades to improve the default scaling of this weapon and to allow it to scale with your other stats.
Hammer with the Highest Physical Damage
Monk's Flamemace is the highest damaging hammer in the game. It can be customized to fit any build or playstyle and its moderately fast attacks can be used to apply status effects and Ashes of War such as Seppuku, Chilling Mist, or Poisonous Mist are recommended as additional damage sources.
This weapon has a unique strong attack animation that performs a stomp before swinging the weapon down. Charging your strong attacks is a recommended strategy to use since it is capable of dealing high damage and can be enhanced with the Axe Talisman.
Infusable with Ashes of War
This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and has the weapon skill Kick by default. When activated it performs a strong kick that is effective against an enemy's guard and can break Poise.
The kick is guaranteed to open up a blocking enemy for a critical attack and stagger high Poise enemies. Pairing this with the Dagger Talisman will enhance the damage dealt by critical strikes.
