How to Use Ivory Sickle
Scales with Intelligence, Dexterity, and Strength
The Ivory Sickle is an Intelligence and Dexterity weapon that scales well with these two attributes. It requires a bit of Strength to wield but adding points to this stat are not recommended.
Investing in the two aforementioned attributes will have the most beneficial effect on your physical attack and Magic damage.
Magic Damage Weapon
This is a good Magic damage weapon with fast attacks that is effective against enemies and bosses with low Magic damage resistance. It does, however, deal low Poise damage and is less effective against shielded opponents.
Equipping an off-hand weapon with a debuff or different damage type can be an additional damage source. The talisman Stargazer Heirloom raises your Intelligence to increase your Magic damage value.
High Mobility Weapon Skill
This cannot be infused with Ashes of War. It comes with the default weapon skill, Quickstep, which performs a dash in any direction to evade enemy attacks or reposition to a different location.
It is a very useful weapon skill as it allows you to move quickly to a better position, opening your opponent up to combos or follow-up attacks. It also gives you enough mobility to hit while evading damage.
