Mount Torrent and Jump

To use a Spirit Spring, mount Torrent and jump right on top of the Spirit Spring. The spring will launch you high into the air.

You have a bit of control to steer Torrent into the right spot where you want to land as you slowly come down.

You Can Also Use It To Take No Fall Damage

While jumping high with Spirit Springs can be useful, they are equally helpful when descending from high places. Jumping onto a Spirit Spring with Torrent will negate all fall damage, making it a handy way to get down from high places without fear of dying due to a slight height miscalculation.
