 Complete Dungeons (Very Rare Drop).
Salvage Legendary or Set Equipment.
Has a chance to drop from the Free Daily Rewards Chest.
Guaranteed drop when completing the Purify the Corruption zone event in Dark Wood at Hell 1+ Difficulty.
Chance to get 5 when trading in Moonslivers for Blessings during the Hungering Moon limited-time event.

After your primary equipment reaches Rank 5, it will need to be upgraded with Glowing Shards on top of the usual Enchanted Dust and Scrap Material costs. This is the only way to get primary equipment past Rank 5 in the game.
Much like Scrap Material and Enchanted Dust, Glowing Shards can also be used to purchase Enigmatic Crystals from the Smithing Materials Vendor. This is an endgame option as Enigmatic Crystals are harder to come by than any of the upgrade materials used for the primary equipment slots.
