Charms are equippable items that increase the rank of character skills in Diablo Immortal. Read on to learn about what Charms are, how to get and use them, and the best way to upgrade, extract, and imbue Charms!
List of Contents
|
Upgrade | Costs 20 Alchemical Powder for each rank up. |
---|---|
Salvage | Returns 10 Alchemical Powder for each Rank 1 Charm. |
Extract | Costs 500 Platinum to extract a Rank 5 Charm's Skill Stone. |
Imbue | Costs 1 Skill Stone to imbue a random skill. |
Skill rank bonuses are increased by upgrading Charms. In order to upgrade Charms by a rank, you will need to give the Charm Craftsman 20 Alchemical Powder.
The base rank of a Charm is one, so in order to max out its rank, you will then need a total of 80 Alchemical Powder to maximize skill rank bonuses.
You can only obtain Alchemical Powder by salvaging Rank 1 Charms. Salvaging one will reward you 10 Alchemical Powder. However, do note that Rank 2 to 5 Charms cannot be salvaged, so make sure to spend your limited Alchemical Powder wisely.
At the cost of 500 Platinum, players can turn unwanted Charms into Skill Stones through extracting, which you can then use to reroll the bonuses on other Charms.
Once a Charm has been converted into a Skill Stone, one of the five skill bonuses within that Charm can be transferred to a different Charm through Imbuing.
Platinum Farming Guide: How to Use Platinum
Imbuing involves replacing a single skill rank bonus from a Charm with one out of the five bonuses of a Skill Stone.
While players can select which skill bonus will be replaced from the Charm, players do not have control over which of the five will be transferred to it coming from the Skill Stone.
Hence, if you have a specific skill bonus that you want to add to a Charm, you will only have a 20 percent chance of achieving that through Imbuing.
Skill Bonus % | Probability |
---|---|
2% Bonus | 75% Chance |
4% Bonus | 19.5% Chance |
6% Bonus | 4% Chance |
8% Bonus | 1% Chance |
10% Bonus | 0.5% Chance |
On top of replacing skills with one that benefits your class and build, Imbuing is also the only process that can increase the skill bonuses of Charms from 2% to as much as 10%.
Each time you replace a Charm's skill with one from a Skill Stone, the game will re-roll the percent bonus value the new skill receives. However, do note that the chances to get a 6-10% bonus will be significantly lower than 2-4% for every roll.

Charms can sometimes be rewarded to players upon completing Bounties.
It is recommended to check and accomplish Bounties every now and then to reap any worthwhile rewards!
Charms can be purchased from the Westmarch Hilts Trader under the General tab for 100 Hilts. Much like the other items in the Hilts Trader's inventory, purchases will be limited, with Charms capped at 3 per week.
Note: Charms also have a chance to appear under the Limited Time tab. Make sure to check out the Limited Time tab offerings after their daily 12 PM and 8 PM (server time) resets.

Charms can also be earned via the Free Track of the in-game Battle Pass. Complete challenges and dailies to get Battle Pass points and level it up for extra Charms it rewards.
Battle Pass Guide: Rewards and How to Buy
Charms are equippable items that increases the skill rank of characters. They provide between one and five unique skill rank bonuses for all classes, rolled randomly.
Charms occupy their own item slot, and you can only equip one at a time, so to make the most out of Charms, the lineup of skills should all be applicable for your character.
Skill Tree: List of All Skills
Unless you're actively imbuing them using Skill Stones, Charms are not worth it for the most part. Given all skill modifiers for Rank1 Charms will usually start with a 2 % Skill Damage Bonus, the benefits when equipping will be mostly unnoticeable.
If you're a free-to-play (F2P) player, Charms will mostly be non-factor unless you upgrade and sell extracted Skill Stones for Platinum at the Marketplace, or if you equip one that has 2-3 skill bonuses for your build.
Alternatively, unused Rank 5 Charms in your inventory can be extracted into Skill Stones and sold at the Marketplace for Platinum. While you do spend 500 Platinum during extraction, this can be offset by the prices that Skill Stones sell for at the Marketplace.
When extracting Skill Stones, make sure to only extract from Rank 5 Charms that have 2 or more skills for a single class as these will sell for much more than stones with 5 different skills spread across multiple classes.
