This is a guide to the Summoner Corpse Explosion Build, a PvE Necromancer Build in Diablo Immortal! This is a build focusing on using the Necromancer's pets or summons and supplementing it with the Corpse Explosion Skill which is modified by Rotspur for strong damage over time effects.

Zwenson's Haunting | When you defeat an enemy, a dark beast attacks nearby enemies, dealing 50% base damage + 486 to all nearby enemies. Cannot occur more than once every 6 seconds. Gain a 7% chance to summon a dark dragon after using a skill against an enemy that causes loss of control. (Unlocks at Rank 3) Unlocks at Rank 3 |
Indicated gem effects only display their base effect. Values will be higher depending on the gem's upgrade level.
This is a setup for a Rotspur Summoner build. This build is mainly focused on strengthening our summons and utilizing the bonuses we can get from having summons. We added in Rotspur to give the builds some extra area damage that is consistent damage over time. You can easily generate a single corpse with Command Skeleton's focus damage and your primary skill and from there, you can quickly start a chain reaction of passive area damage by setting the floor in poison via Corpse Explosion. This is a steady DPS build and is great for Rift Pushing and if mastered properly, it can even allow you to challenge rifts with higher Combat Rating requirements!
This combo is made to synergize the effect of all the damage over the times available to you. The damage bonuses of the Flagellant set do not apply to the summons as they are not considered as damage over time effects but the bonus you get from Corpse Explosion's poison more than makes up for it and is what enables this build to flourish.

Critical Hit Chance | Your summons can also apply critical hit strikes and it also greatly synergizes with the Shepherd set which gives you a flat 18% critical chance during its full effect. |
Cooldown Reduction | Unlike the skeletons, the Skeletal Mage and the Command Golem skill needs to be used to summon your two other units. There is a huge gap where you will be left with only skeletons to fight for you and having a higher cooldown reduction can reduce this gap or even eliminate it completely. |
Critical Hit Damage | Works extremely well with the Shepherd set and your critical hit chance stat. Only prioritize this stat if you have a decent amount of critical hit chance on your character. |
Movement Speed | One clear weakness of the build is its lack of mobility. Having a high movement speed allows you to easily weave through thin mobs and pull them for an easier clear. This also reduces the time it gets to more enemies which makes clearing Rifts (both Challenge and Elder Rifts) much faster and easier. |

The Vanquisher tree is the single most important tree in the whole Paragon Tree. The Necromancer does not prioritize durability so focusing on slotting as much damage as we can is key to making this (as well as several other) Necromancer build work.
Survivor is our second best tree to focus on as it provides us the extra survivability in case we happen to be mispositioned which can normally be fatal.
Treasure Hunter is our third priority as it focuses on obtaining more resources. This does not improve our combat efficiency but the other two trees are focused on PvP which our build does not want at all so it's better to focus on the Treasure Hunter and possibly get some legendaries with it along the way!
Both trees focus on PvP and are not an activity this build is particularly focused on. Try to stray away from these trees unless your paragon is maxed out.

Command Golem is a great skill as it can deal damage and taunt all enemies surrounding it. Use this to initiate fights and keep yourself alive and healthy then follow it up with your other summons for more DPS.
With Rotspur equipped, the explosion damage will now not stack. To maximize your Corpse Explosion effect, delay your uses and alternate between commanding golem to re-draw aggro and using your primary attacks. Once the poison areas expire, re-use your Corpse Explosion with the newly defeated enemies to re-apply your damage over time.
Your DPS is lackluster without the Rotspur poison supporting you. While you'll be easily able to clear bosses with all your single target damage, clearing groups of enemies will be difficult without the combined effort of Golem and Corpse Explosion so focus on one target and use that as your initial Corpse to start applying damage over time on your current mob group before going to the next one!
