List of Contents
In Diablo Immortal, The Vault is storage used and owned by the Immortals, one of the two major factions involved in the Cycle of Strife.
It primarily holds their hoard of Essentia, a resource used to start the faction raid Kion's Ordeal, and some of the strongest Legendary items in the game.
The Vault is also involved in the tasks of the Shadows and Immortals factions as it is the focal point of the Raid the Vault and the Defend the Vault activities.
Immortals can contribute Gold and items to the Vault by completing Elder Rifts with Crests and obtaining the Blessing of Daedessa from Kion's Ordeal.
The Vault also slowly fills up with Gold and items on its own over time, so doing faction tasks isn't necessary to keep the Vault full.
If you are an Immortal, you have the option to request your choice of Legendary item from the Vault as a Weekly Reward.
To guarantee this Legendary item for yourself, you need to have the highest Contributions in the Immortals, so being active in the faction is key to getting what you want.
If you are a Shadow, raiding the Vault is one of the main ways to gain Marks.
This resource contributes directly to your faction rank and your Dark Clan's overall rank, making the Vault vital for Shadows progression.
Raid the Vault is a 4-player Shadows activity that allows them to enter the Vault and raid it to obtain Gold, Hilts, Marks, and even Legendary Items.
The main goal of this activity is to steal the rare material Essentia from the Vault so the Immortals cannot use it for themselves.
Raid the Vault is only open from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM server time, so be on time if you want to pursue Vault Raids as a Shadow.
In contrast to the Shadows' Raid the Vault activity, Immortals must instead Defend the Vault.
In this activity, the Immortals must defeat the raiding Shadows to prevent them from stealing their Essentia.
Defending the Vault provides Immortals with Contributions and Hilts, so never neglect to do so when you have the chance as an Immortal.
