List of Contents
The only way to join the Shadow War is to be part of the Shadows and a Dark Clan. Check the Dark Clan tab from the Adventurer button to see if your clan is already is one. If not, the only way to convert is to have the members contribute Akeba's Signets.
The number of Akeba's Signets required to convert into a Dark Clan depends on the current clan size.
Clan leaders can register their Clan in the Shadow War every Monday and Tuesday. Members of the Clan above Level 51 will automatically be allowed to join.
The deadline for registration depends on the number of applicants. Clans are given a rating from A-C to determine the brackets. Clans who did well the previous week will get a higher rating of A, which is the highest. Dark Clan Rank will determine the ratings and bracket seeding if the current Shadow War is the first of the season.
The first leg of the Shadow War is similar to the Challenge of the Immortal in Akeba's Memory. Each round of the war is played on three different fronts. The Main Battle, Supporting Battle 1, and 2. All three battles are played at the same time. Clans play each other in a bracket until there is only one clan remaining.
In the Main Battle of a Shadow War, the leader of each clan will play as an Immortal and will have to defeat opposing clan members. Whoever kills the clan leader first will win the Main Battle and the entire round. Players fighting against an Immortal can be resurrected as many times as it takes as long as their clan leader is alive.
The supporting battles of each Shadow War are similar to the Main Battle, except that instead of the opposing clan leader controlling the Immortal, players will be fighting an NPC. Win the two supporting battles to provide buffs to your allies in the main battle.
The winner of the first Shadow War every season earns the right to be part of the Immortals. Succeeding Shadow Wars throughtout the season determines which Dark Clan has the right to challenge the current Immortals and replace them.
Immortals are considered to be the best clan within the server. They are also rewarded with exclusive perks and items, such as a higher purchase limit with the Hilts Trader.
