Skorspine can be found in the Prison of the Scorpion in Shassar Sea during the Quest Fahir's Light. He can be fought in a Solo Dungeon around the area.

How to Beat Skorspine the Marrowrot

Don't Stop Moving

Maintaining some distance between you and Skorkspine is essential to winning the fight. Despite his size, Skorspine is a very agile creature than can twist and turn wherever you try and flank him.

Execute probing attacks on his side and backside, as well as any attacks you can do whenever he gets stuck performing an attack animation.

Stay in the Ring

Towards the latter half of the fight, Skorspine will summon a green ring that surrounds both him and you – do not make the mistake of stepping out of this ring, as doing so will slowly drain your health over time.

Stay within the ring instead, and deal with any summoned enemies in the safety of the ring.

Skorspine the Marrowrot Attack Patterns

Charge

A telegraphed attack with a rectangular marker highlighting the path that Skorspsine will follow to attack you. Once set in his attack, you can easily move to the side to avoid taking any damage from the charge.

Knockback

A regular attack by appearance, Skorspine will push its claws outwards, knocking you back. This does not cause any temporary debuffs or stuns but does make you vulnerable to any of Skorspine's follow-up attacks unless you move out of the way.

Poison Ring

Commonly executed in the second half of the fight, Skorspine will summon a green circle – stay within this circle, or else you will receive continuous damage.

Sphincter Strike

Skorspine will use his sphincter against you, leaving behind small circular trails of poison that will damage you if you step within them. There is no easy way to counter or dodge this attack, due to the speed with which it can be used against you.
