How to Beat Elder Owens

Defeat the Bugs

Elder Owens is a relatively weak opponent that you'll have to go through in order to progress the story. He is, however, backed up by several regular enemies that can prove to be tougher than Elder Owens himself if you let their numbers grow. Kill all the bugs as soon as they appear so you can minimize their effectiveness on the field.

Elder Owens Attack Patterns

Regular Attacks

Elder Owens does not have much in the way of "special" attacks in his repertoire. Instead, he regularly will use regular attacks (melee) against you – these attacks, despite being basic, can inflict heavy damage against you.

Summons

Due to the lack of special attacks in Owens' skillset, he will make heavy use and rely upon the various bug-like enemies in the area to fight against you. To deal with these effectively while still causing damage to Owens, make use of area of effect attacks to inflict damage.
