Paragon Tree Vanquisher Zeal
Each Paragon Talent Tree is divided into two kinds of perks: Permanent Attributes and Specialization Skills.

Permanent Attributes are passive upgrades, are always active, and increase the power and effectiveness of your character across all Paragon Talent Trees. These are represented by round icons.

Specialization Skills, represented by square icons, only work while their respective Paragon Talent Tree is active. Note that only one Paragon Talent Tree at a time can be made active.
