Gem Name | Effect |
---|---|
Chained Death | Increases damage done by your attacks by 1.50% per target hit, up to a maximum of 4.5% with 3 targets. Chained death bonus damage increases to a maximum of 4 targets. Unlocks at Rank 3 |
Everlasting Torment | Your critical hits inflict agony, dealing 16.7% Base damage + 202 every second for 3 seconds. Each enemy can only be affected by this once every 6 seconds. Each nearby enemy afflicted with agony increases your Attack Speed by 1%. Each enemy can only be affected by this once every 6 seconds. Unlocks at Rank 3 |
Power and Command | Power and Command alternates states every 9 seconds. Power increases your Primary Attack damage by 8%. Command increases all other skill damage by 8%. You have a 7.5% chance to dispel a negative effect on you each time Power and Command states alternate. Unlocks at Rank 3 |
Blood-Soaked Jade | Increases all damage you deal by up to 8% while at full Life, with a minimum bonus of 4% while at low Life. Increases your Movement Speed by 10%. Take 2% decreased damage while below 50% Life. Unlocks at Rank 3 |
Bottled Hope | Using a skill to grant a buff increases the target's damage done and movement speed by 8.00% for 6 seconds. Cannot occur more often than once every 20 seconds per target. Decreases the cooldown on all your skills by 1.5%. Unlocks at Rank 3 |
Fervent Fang | Each time you deal damage to an enemy, that enemy now takes 0.80% increased from your attacks, up to a maximum increase of 8% at 10 stacks. All damage you deal to Elite monsters increased by 1.5% Unlocks at Rank 3 |
The majority of these are considered the best because they enhance the Crusader's three main strengths: AoE damage, Continuous damage, and Guaranteed Critical Hits.
Bottled Hope, on the other hand, increases the effectiveness of a Crusader's buffs to themselves and their party. Granting additional damage and movement speed for each activation of skills such as Holy Banner and Conjuration of Light.
Lv | Skill Type |
Effect |
---|---|---|
1 |
Spinning Shield
|
Hurl a spinning shield, inflicting X damage to all enemies in its path. The shield will return, pulling enemies in its path to you and dealing an additional Y damage. Maximum 3 charges. Players can only be affected by Spinning Shield once every 3 seconds. |
8 |
Falling Sword
|
Impale your holy sword at a location where it deals X damage over 5 seconds to all nearby enemies. Activate again to launch yourself into the heavens and come crashing down at the sword's location, dealing Y damage to all nearby enemies and retrieving the sword. |
15 |
Draw and Quarter
|
Mount a celestial war horse for 5 seconds, dispelling all movement impairing effects, increasing your movement speed by 60%, and replacing your Primary Attack. Holy chains will bind up to 8 nearby monsters, dragging them as you ride and repeatedly dealing X damage. |
20 |
Consecration
|
Consecrate the ground around you, dealing X damage to all nearby enemies over 6 seconds. |
38 |
Holy Banner
|
Plant a holy banner that inspires nearby allies for 11.2 seconds, increasing Critical Hit Chance by 100%, but decreasing Critical Hit Damage to 135% instead of double. Critical Hit Chance over 100% will grant up to 65%. |
Spinning Shield is one of the best Crusader skills in Diablo Immortal due to its versatility. Depending on your build and legendaries, this skill can be a strong source of AoE and single-target damage or a skill that can gather mobs from a decent range.
Similar to Spinning Shield, Falling Sword is rated highly for Crusaders because of its versatility in offense and utility. It has a surprisingly low cooldown too, making it a nice addition to almost any meta build out there.
Draw and Quarter is one of the best Crusader skills because of how much value you get from its buffs. This insane skill grants you significant boosts to movement and attack speed, dispells any binding effects on your Crusader upon activation, and lets you chain enemies for easier mob pulling while phasing through them!
This skill can also be improved further through legendaries such as Sivket's Advantage, Besieger, and Bladed Jambeau. These three legendaries turns your Crusader into a mounted DPS machine, which takes the Draw and Quarter's efficiency to even greater heights.
Consecration is a great damage skill that you can get fairly early in the game. Unlocked at level 20, Crusaders can pretty much breeze through mobs primarily via proper Consecration placements in dungeons, rifts, and other forms of PvE content.
Holy Banner is arguably the best skill for Crusaders as it grants you and your allies guaranteed critical hits for its entire duration! This means you and your allies deal nothing but yellow and orange numbers for 11 seconds — granted that proper timing and placement are observed.
The need for the latter is virtually removed if you have the Arrowkeeper headpiece, as this legendary piece essentially turns you into the source of the buff itself.

Pouncing Shield | Off Hand | Legendary | Spinning Shield: Spinning Shield now bounces between several enemies instead of returning to you. |
Constant Scrutiny | Off Hand | Legendary | Shield Glare: Shield Glare now Blinds and damages all enemies around you. |

Spine of the Adversary | Shoulder | Legendary | Sacred Chain: Sacred Chain now also causes chained enemies to take a percentage of all damage taken by any other chained enemy, but no longer Stuns. |
Public Penance | Shoulder | Legendary | Sacred Chain: Sacred Chain now throws frozen chains that deal more damage and do not break from damage, but have a shorter duration. |
Wind-Blessed Pauldrons | Shoulder | Legendary | Conjuration of Light: Conjuration of Light duration increased by 30%. |
Besieger | Chest | Legendary | Draw and Quarter: Draw and Quarter periodically calls down a bombardment for X damage to nearby enemies. |
Iron Suzerain | Chest | Legendary | Condemn: Condemn now continuously drags enemies toward you. |
Bladed Jambeau | Legs | Legendary | Draw and Quarter: Draw and Quarter's mount becomes a fiery steed that Burns the ground and enemies, but no longer drags enemies. |
These are the absolute best weapons and armor for Crusaders in the current meta! Each of these items significantly improve some of Crusader's key skills and are crucial to almost every endgame build out there.
All Crusader Weapons and Equipment
Attribute | Effect |
---|---|
Critical Hit Chance | Increases chance of your attacks doing a critical hit (double damage) |
Critical Hit Damage | Improves the damage of your critical strikes by a flat rate (1% critical hit damage increases our critical hit from 200% to 201%) |
Fortitude | Provides armor and armor penetration. |
Strength | Increases the damage of Barbarians, Crusaders, Demon Hunters, and Monks. Provides little benefit to the classes not mentioned. |
Vitality | Increases HP. |
Strength is a Crusader's main stat, which should always be the highest priority regardless of the build. Compliment this with your usual staples for DPS such as Critical Hit Chance, Critical Hit Damage, and Fortitude. Lastly, Vitality is another staple that Crusaders will need to pump regardless of build — damage doesn't matter if you don't have enough survivability to dish it out!
