How to Find Hidden Lairs

Set Locations in Every Zone

Hidden Lairs can be found in set locations throughout every zone. Most of the time, they will be closed and their entrances will be dark. Occassionally, the entrance to one will open randomly and an announcement will appear on screen. Only a few Hidden Lairs can open in a zone at any given time, and each one despawns after 10 minutes, so you need to be quick if you want to enter.

Text Appears Indicating a Hidden Lair is Open

When the text A Hidden Lair has opened in this zone appears on the screen, it's time to start combing the area to look for which Hidden Lair is open. The lair can only be accessed by 1 party at a time so try to invite friends or even players around you when you find a lair!

Which Lair Opens is Random

There are between 8 and 18 Hidden Lairs depending on the zone, so finding which one has opened can be tricky. To increase your chances of being the first one to a lair, familiarize yourself with their locations in each zone and make your own route for efficiently checking each lair.

Use Party Finder to Find Hidden Lairs Quickly

Circling around zones looking for Hidden Lairs might prove to be frustrating if you don't manage to find one, so check the Party Finder periodically for groups looking for another player to join. Open the menu and select Apply if you find a vacancy in a Hidden Lair party, or create your own Hidden Lair search team!

How to Clear Hidden Lairs

Steps to Clearing a Hidden Lair
Enter Solo or with a Party Complete Indicated Objectives Claim Rewards from Chests Clear Second Level

Enter Solo or with a Party

Upon finding a Lair, interact with it to bring up a menu. Here, you can choose to go in solo or find a party to enter with. Entering will transport you to an entirely separate area, where you can explore the Lair.

Note: You can only enter with a 4-player party on Hell 1 difficulty and above.

Complete Indicated Objectives

Once you're in the Lair, you will be given a few objectives to complete. The number of objectives changes depending on the Lair, but these objectives usually comprise of Defeating a boss, Defeating several enemies, and completing a task specific to that dungeon.

Claim Rewards from Chests

After completing each of the tasks, a chest will appear close to you. Open this chest to receive your rewards. Once you've completed all the important tasks, you can exit the Lair through a portal.

Clear Second Level

Completing Lair objectives has a chance to summon an orange portal that takes you down to a second, lower level. Enter this portal to earn more rewards!

What are Hidden Lairs?

Small Dungeons Spread Throughout Each Zone

Hidden Lairs are mini-dungeons with entrances that are scattered throughout all of Diablo Immortal's zones, however, they are inaccessible most of the time. You can only enter a Hidden Lair when the entrance is glowing. If the text A Hidden Lair has opened in this zone appears on the screen while roaming the world, the entrance to one random Hidden Lair is now accessible in the current zone.

Give Normal Gems as Rewards

They are particularly useful for farming Normal Gems, though there is a cap to how many Normal Gems you can get per day. It's best to do up to 2 Hidden Lairs per day if possible to maximize rewards.

Hidden Lairs Reward You With Normal Gems

Hidden Lairs are worth doing every time you see one while exploring, as they can be completed quickly and offer a good amount of Normal Gems, which can be used to improve your Secondary Gear. Note that you can only receive up to 6 Normal Gems per day by doing Hidden Lairs.

Furthermore, many zone Achievements have tasks that must be completed in Hidden Lairs, so if you're looking for 100% completion, you'll want to do Hidden Lairs any time they appear.
