Enigmatic Crystals are used to upgrade the Gear Ranks of your character's secondary equipment. This includes all Neck, Rings, Arms, Waist, and Foot Armor. In late game, Enigmatic Crystals will be a precious resource as they are the only way to upgrade your Set Items.
