How to Find and Complete Demon Gates

Demon Gates is one of the Zone Events in Diablo Immortal that occurs in the Realm of Damnation. Read on to learn more about this event, Demon Gate locations, the event schedule, and the completion rewards!

Demon Gates Zone Event Overview & Schedule

Basic Information

Using a Demon Gate and defeating 3 demons within also completes one of the Realm of Damnation's Achievements that will reward you with Hilts.

Event Schedule

The event occurs on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday at 12:00 PM, 8:30 PM, and 10:00 PM. These are all based on server time so be sure to check your server's time zone or you might miss the event.

In addition, traveling to the Realm of Damnation provides a countdown timer for the Demon Gates pinned to your Quest Log, allowing you to know when the next instance of the event will start.

Only available on Hell difficulties

Take note that the countdown timer and the Demon Gates event itself will only appear and trigger after setting the difficulty to Hell I or higher.

Set the World Difficulty to Hell

Before you can find Demon Gates, know that the event is only available in Hell difficulties. So if you haven't yet, return to Westmarch, open your map, and change the World Difficulty to at least Hell I.

Search the Realm of Damnation for Demon Gates

After changing the World Difficulty, fast travel to the Realm of Damnation at 12PM, 8:30PM, or 10PM (server time) on a Monday, Thursday, or Sunday and the
Zone Event should already be taking place. While the event is active, there will be a message notifying players about the region that contains the Demon Gates, so take note of it as you go through the event.

The Demon Gate locations are randomized so you will need to scour the zone to find them. In addition, a mark indicating a Demon Gate will only appear on your map if there is one near your character.

Open Demon Gates With Other Players

Once you come across a Demon Gate, you need to work together with at least two other players to open a portal through the gate. Party up with your friends or nearby players to efficiently open as many Demon Gates as possible.

Defeat Demons Inside the Demon Gates

After opening a Demon Gate, a demon boss will shortly spawn. Defeat this boss to obtain Gold, Experience, and random quality gear.

Note that you can only obtain enhanced rewards from Demon Gates 3 times per day.
