Segithis is not a typical Boss fight like most that players encounter throughout the game. You can't "hit" the main body of the creature to cause it damage – instead, focus on its Legs that it has swung around to its front.
You will need to go through three sets of legs that you will go through, with each having a Left and Right leg that need to be injured first. Each successful injury to the two legs per set will cause Segithis' main body to drop down to the ground, allowing you to hit him freely.
The danger in this fight isn't actually Segithis himself, but the spiders that drop down from the ceiling. These come in heavy numbers and can easily overrun you if you don't deal with them quickly.
WIth most of Segithis attacks being slow or causing very little damage, focus your efforts on clearing the area first of the spiders before going after Segithis' legs.
One of the most common forms of attacks that Segithis performs is when he sends one up to three orbs towards you. These orbs can be easily avoided as they usually follow a strict flight path – when sending out two Orbs however, these Orbs will be larger and have the ability to home in on the player wherever they move.
More of a "Trap" rather than an actual attack, Segithis will oftentimes spit out webs that can easily capture you, dragging you close to it before it executes either its Side Swipe or Homing Orbs attack to cause you damage.
Avoiding these webs is particularly difficult, although getting caught in them is no reason to panic due to Segithis' otherwise tame damage output.
An easily telegraphed attack where Segithis will swipe at the ground just in front of him. You can get out of the way of this attack as soon as you see the ground in front of the creature light up in red right before it drags its hand across it for a hit that can temporarily stun you.
