|---|---|
 | S-ranked Gems will significantly impact your character througout the game. These are the best of the best, offering great efficiency and overall power to your builds across multiple forms of content from the get-go. |
 | A-ranked gems can be just as good as the S-ranked gems in terms of efficiency, but fall just a bit lower in overall power level. Treat these as complimentary pieces to the S Tier Gems when making builds. |
 | B-ranked gems can be great but are very situational. These can only be fully maximized through certain classes or depending on whether you're playing PvP or PvE. Players should at least have some of these gems to supplement specific aspects of their builds or compensate for their deficiencies. |
 | C-ranked gems have little noticeable effects when used. Resources are better spent elsewhere rather than ranking them up. Slot them if you have no other gems but quickly replace them when you can. They can even be considered as fodder for upgrading other gems. |
Every gem is placed in these tiers based on three key factors:
- Effect: Legendary Gems offer specific effects when slotted into our equipment. Its overall impact is determined by the strength of base effect itself and how easy it is to activate (proc).
- Applicability: Some Legendary Gems can be considered staples while cater to specific playstyles. Applicability refers to how beneficial a Legendary Gem is across multiple forms of content, builds, and playstyles.
- Slot Efficiency: Slots are scarce, with only six slots for available Legendary Gems. Slot Efficiency refers to the gem's extra effects when slotted in. Those that rank highly are ones that provide even more impactful benefits to your builds as you upgrade them — what else can it offer besides the base effect?

Your critical hits inflict agony, dealing 16.7% Base damage + 202 every second for 3 seconds. Each enemy can only be affected by this once every 6 seconds. | ||

What is a legendary gem? I don't see any labeled or named as legendary. There are just a whole lot of gems of different colored gems. None have any lables or names. Other than their colors.
